3 days of skiing in Colorado

Hello to all blog followers,

I'm on vacation here and writing to let you know how amazing it all is....
I've taken a flight out of the big apple into the wilderness of Denver, Colorado (;
My wonderful friend JS picked me up
from the airport & the hunting for ski equipment began:
It is so much easier owning ski boots!!!
But if you're not sure whether you want to ski or board, it's not recommanded spending that money yet.....
So I've rented (after looking in the 2 rental shops & having trouble finding boots that fit in the 1st one).
The next day we've headed up to the mountains.
It's pretty high up there (10,000 feet) and surprisingly enough I didn't get my usual altitude sickness!!!
We did some skiing over Copper mountain - warming me up since I have not got to ski for 2 years now.
I guess it's like riding a bike: you never forget how but it takes you a while to pull yourself together to do a semi-decent job....
The next 2 days we went skiing in Breckenridge.
The weather was amazing: the best snow I've ever got to ski on, blue clear ski, not as windy as Copper, and the most beautiful scenery ever.
We spent 2 nights at JS's friends in Breckenridge - I got the blue guestroom!!!!
And after a day skiing we entered a hot tub outside in the snow in -1F watching the stars above filling the sky slowly.
Could not have believed this scene if I were not there....

Now I'm back in Boulder, Colorado getting ready for the next step of this journey.
Had an amazing time & hate leaving tomorrow....

There has never been a skiing trip like this one, that's for sure!
Good knight all!
See you soon
