The monthly email - December 2009

Hola todos!

I have promised to use this as the only media (on-line) to contact all, so I guess my monthly emails should be here too.... !-:
since my last email I have started this blog not really knowing where it will take me (us?) and the thruth to be told: I still don't know!
Well with me you can never foresee what's coming... (-;

Life (apparently and surprisingly) has not changed much!
The only big storms are running outside (mostly freezing wind).
There is still no snow on the ground but it does feel like mid-winter (or maybe it's just my wishful thinking it won't get colder than this?!). It's about 25-45 degrees ((-4)-7 celsius) outside and about 78(25) degrees inside, which makes your body ask "wtf?".

I guess what this weather is trying to say to me is: stay home and do your studying!!!! Yet, some people have to go outside to work from time to time (not too often)..

So between work and school I do try to have some fun: going to musicals and plays, going to the ballet (did someone mention "Alvin Ailey"?), ice-skating(!!!), friends, restaurants, and even walking the streets of this gorgeous city!!!
The city is even more beautiful this time of year with all the Christmas decorations and all the shopping that goes on around you!
Don't you just love Christmas?.... (-;

This city has so much to offer which makes it really hard staying in...
...on that note, I'll go right back to the books!
